PCA2011(P)16 This Circular advises of an amendment to the Drug Tariff Annex A concerning the discount clawback rate to apply in respect of reimbursement of proprietary drugs with effect from 1 January 2012.


PCA2011(P)15 This Circular advises of the discount clawback rate in respect of reimbursement for items listed at Pt 7 in the Scottish Drug Tariff to be introduced for dispensing from 1 December 2011 onwards.


PCA2011(P)14 This circular advises of an extension to the deadline for reimbursement of claims for the 2011-12 Electronic Claim Training Payment.

 


PCA2011(P)12 This Circular advises of an amendment to the Drug Tariff Annex A concerning the discount clawback rate to apply in respect of reimbursement of proprietary drugs with effect from 1 October 2011.


PCA2011(P)11 This Circular advises of changes to the Drug Tariff in relation to restructuring of remuneration. These take effect from 1 October 2011.

 


PCA2011(P)10 This Circular informs NHS Boards and community pharmacy contractors of the intention to continue funding for Community Pharmacy Practitioner Champions into 2011-12.


PCA2011(P)09 This Circular informs NHS Boards and community pharmacy contractors of the remaining Public Health Service (PHS) poster campaign topics for 2011-12 agreed with Community Pharmacy Scotland and attached as an Annex to this Circular.


PCA2011(P)08 This Circular encloses updated Directions for the Chronic Medication Service (CMS).

 


PCA2011(P)07 This circular informs NHS Boards of the amendment Regulations coming into force and the revised Control of Entry Arrangements.

 


PCA2011(P)06 This Circular encloses revised Directions and a revised service specification for the Minor Ailment Service (MAS).

 


PCA2011(P)05(M)07 This circular advises NHS Boards of the abolition of prescription charges in Scotland, the charging arrangements for other UK prescriptions, amendments to prescription stationery, processing electronic scripts and guidance for community pharmacists in relation to the Minor Ailment Service.


PCA2011(P)04 This Circular advises of remuneration and Tariff Pt 7 and Pt 11 reimbursement arrangements for community pharmacy contractors providing pharmaceutical services as included in the Drug Tariff to apply for the year 1st April 2011 to 31st March 2012.


PCA2011(P)03 This Circular advises community pharmacy contractors and Health Boards of an amendment to the Drug Tariff in respect of the CMS Implementation Payments (CIP), payable to community pharmacy contractors joining the Pharmaceutical List or taking over an existing contractor from 1 January 2011.


PCA2011(P)02 This Circular informs NHS Boards and community pharmacy contractors of the remaining Public Health Service (PHS) poster campaign topics for 2010-11 agreed with Community Pharmacy Scotland and attached as an Annex to this Circular.


PCA2011(P)01(M)01 This circular sets out the arrangements which will apply for remunerating and reimbursing community pharmacy contractors and dispensing doctors for the supply of influenza vaccine in 2011-12.

PCA2011(M)21 This circular has been prepared to clarify the use of exception reporting rules regarding ‘did not attend’ (DNA) letters for the additional services cervical screening indicators.

 


PCA2011(M)20 This circular introduces amendments to the National Health Service (Primary Medical Services Performers Lists) (Scotland) Regulations 2004 (‘the 2004 Regulations’) to allow for disclosure checks, the suspension of a performer and to permit a ‘lead’ Board to carry out pre-listing suitability checks.


PCA2011(M)19 This circular has been prepared to clarify that use of the SCI – DC electronic foot risk screening tool is not mandatory in relation to the above QOF indicator, but a recommendation.


PCA2011(M)18 This circular has been prepared in response to particular problems over charging issues for work carried out by GPs either at the request of Local Authorities or at the request of members of the general public during the Blue Badge application process.


PCA2011(M)17 This Circular provides NHS Boards and GP Practices an updated Reporting Template to accommodate the extension of the Palliative Care DES for 2011-12.

 


PCA2011(M)16 This Circular introduces updated Directions which will replace the Health Board Direct Provision of Primary Medical Services (Scotland) Directions 2011 (the 2011 Directions) and the Health Board Primary Medical Services Contracts (Scotland) Directions 2010 (the 2010 Directions) and new Health Board Provision of Healthcare in Prisons (Scotland) Directions 2011 and guidance to Health Boards on the provision of healthcare to prisoners in prisons.


PCA2011(M)15 This Circular introduces a revised Statement of Financial Entitlements (SFE) for GMS Contractors and replaces PCA(M)(2010)19 issued on 15 October 2010.

 


PCA2011(M)13 This Circular advises Health Boards that the Directions which provide the legal framework for Directed Enhanced Services in Scotland have been revised.

 


PCA2011(M)12 This Circular provides NHS Boards and GP Practices with an aide memoire of the key features of the General Medical Services 2011/12 contract, in particular of the key steps to be taken in implementing the new QOF Quality and Productivity indicators.


PCA2011(M)11 This Circular provides NHS Boards and GP Practices an updated Reporting Template to accommodate the extension of the Palliative Care DES for 2011-12.

 


PCA2011(M)10 This Circular is to confirm funding arrangements for the continuation of the Scottish Enhanced Services Programme for 2011-12.

 


PCA2011(M)08 This Circular advises NHS Boards and GP Practices about the arrangements for the Osteoporosis Directed Enhanced Service in Scotland for the financial year 1st April 2011 to 31st March 2012.


PCA2011(M)04 This circular introduces revised Directions as to the drugs, medicines and other substances to be ordered by contractors in the provision of primary medical services under a general medical services contract.


PCA2011(M)02 This Circular introduces updated Directions which will replace the Health Board Direct Provision of Primary Medical Services (Scotland) Directions 2004 (Direct Provision Directions 2004) and which come into effect on 26 January 2011.
