In September 2013 the Scottish Government published the vision and action plan for the future of NHS Pharmaceutical Care in Scotland.
This followed the publication of the publication of the Scottish Governments Review of NHS Pharmaceutical Care of Patients in the Community in Scotland the so called “Wilson Review” in August 2013.
CPS submitted evidence to the “Wilson Review” in May 2012.
The Health and Sport Committee Prescription for Evidence Session took place on the 29th April 2014. CPS submitted evidence to the committee before the session on the 29th of April. You can now view the session online or download the transcript.

CPS response to Prescription for Excellence
CPS has developed the document 'Prescription for Delivery' in response on how to achieve the outcomes of Prescription for Excellence linked to the Scottish Government's 2020 Vision. There is also a Prescription for Delivery Briefing document available to download.
Priority Areas Shared with Cabinet Secretary for Health and Wellbeing
CPS has developed three priority areas after engagement with the previous Cabinet Secretary for Health, Alex Neil. These areas will be discussed further in the coming months with the recently appointed Shona Robison.
