Webinar - Facilitating Experiential Learning: University Update

Tuesday, January 15, 2019

Would you like to know more about supporting student pharmacists who are undertaking experiential learning in pharmacy practice in Scotland?

NES have arranged a webinar on Tuesday 22nd January at 7pm to provide an opportunity for the MPharm Course Leader for Robert Gordon University and the MPharm Programme Director for the University of Strathclyde to provide an update on their MPharm course structure and how experiential learning (EL) is integrated into the course. There will also be an opportunity to allow facilitators of EL to ask questions about what is expected of them and how they can best support student pharmacists on EL.

The session is aimed at those who are currently involved in hosting student pharmacists on experiential learning to supplement the PFEL training but could also be of interest to those who would like to become involved in the future.

The Presenters of the webinar will be:

  • Dr Anne Boyter, MPharm Programme Director, University of Strathclyde
  • Dr Brian Addison, MPharm Course Leader, Robert Gordon University
  • Aly Brown, MPharm Professional Experiences Lead, Robert Gordon

It is the ideal opportunity to find out more about how the Additional Cost of Teaching funding will enhance the quality of experiential learning for our Scottish student pharmacists – please join us by booking your place on Portal today.
