PRPS expressions of interest for the 2020-21 training year

Wednesday, January 9, 2019

This communication is regarding involvement in the 2020/21 training year of the national Pre-registration Pharmacist Scheme (PRPS).

As part of the preparations for the recruitment process for this training year, NHS Education for Scotland (NES) are now seeking expressions of interest from pharmacy organisations - Training Providers - who would like to be involved in the scheme for 2020/21.

Would you be interested in participating in the PRPS for this specific training year?

If you are interested, please email pharmacy.recruitment@nes.scot.nhs.uk, by no later than Friday 1st February 2019.

Please confirm or provide the details of the main contact person for Pre-Registration training in your organisation. NES will also require a name and email address.

Details of the recruitment process

When the list of Training Providers expressing an interest has been collated, further communication will be issued directly providing details of the recruitment process for the 2020/21 training year and how to access the on-line PRPS recruitment system.

For those of you who are familiar with PRPS recruitment, please be advised that we are moving our online recruitment portal from SMT to Oriel. The recruitment process and timescales will be similar to previous years, the only change will be using a different online system. Guidance and logins for the new system will be provided once we have collated a list of interested Training Providers.
